Smart Student's Guide to Smart Manufacturing

Students interested in a career in manufacturing need soft skills to navigate change, positively impact others, and solve problems. In this joint webinar, Siemens and Deloitte will discuss the "soft skills" that future workers should focus on developing as they prepare for their careers.

This webinar is part of a series of content that Siemens is building to support Mike Nager’s book, The Smart Student’s Guide to Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. His book serves as an introduction to the field of manufacturing for students.

Joining from the Siemens and Deloitte alliance, our presenter, Steve Lancaster, will share the work that his team has compiled, which is called Human Capital Trends. Deloitte surveyed over 14,000 individuals in 95 countries to bring this work to fruition.
