Accelerating path to energy transition, Simulation for design

Increasingly stringent CO2 reduction targets at the public and private levels have accelerated the development of clean transportation and renewable energy. Due to the continuous improvement in Li-ion battery technology and concomitant cost decrease, electric vehicles (EV) are increasingly gaining market shares over traditional internal combustion engines (ICE). Simultaneously, increased penetration of intermittent sources of renewable energy is being made possible through the availability of reliable, long-life energy storage. This rapid change in technological platform requires an industry-wide mobilization and shortened development timelines. To accelerate the development of novel battery systems, the transportation and grid industries are increasingly turning to high-fidelity, multi-scale simulation. 阿齐兹·阿卜杜拉希

阿齐兹·阿卜杜拉希是 Siemens Digital Industries Software 的电池应用专家。他的专长包括电化学建模、等效电路建模、电池寿命建模、统计电池包分析、车辆级建模和原子建模。在加入西门子之前,阿齐兹曾在万向一二三公司担任首席建模科学家,该公司是汽车和电网领域的主要锂离子电池供应商。阿齐兹持有麻省理工学院材料工程博士学位,在锂离子电池领域撰写了 15 篇经同行评审的出版物。他是 2014 年诺曼·海克曼青年作家奖(电化学学会)的获得者,并于 2018 年荣获 SAE 杰出口头报告奖。
