In today’s fast-paced and innovative electronics industry, rigid-flex PCB design has emerged as a cornerstone for developing cutting-edge devices that demand compactness, durability, and exceptional performance. These hybrid circuits, which combine the benefits of rigid and flexible materials, enable groundbreaking applications in industries like aerospace, medical devices, and consumer electronics. However, their design introduces a host of intricate challenges that can test even seasoned engineers. These include selecting appropriate materials to balance flexibility and strength, controlling impedance to ensure signal integrity across complex layouts, and optimizing the stackup to achieve reliability, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency—all while meeting tight project deadlines.
Join our upcoming webinar for an in-depth exploration of these challenges and discover how Z-planner software empowers engineers to overcome them with confidence. This session will provide a detailed roadmap for designing high-performance rigid-flex PCB stackups.
