CAM350 Overview webinar

Valor DFMStream by Siemens is a powerful yet user-friendly software suite designed to optimize printed circuit board (PCB) designs for manufacturing.

Built on the industry leading software CAM350, it performs in-depth DFM analysis and 3D visualization to detect potential fabrication issues, helping reduce defects, scrap, and delays. The tool supports a wide range of industry-standard file formats—including ODB++, IPC-2581, Gerber, and DXF—for seamless data import and export across various PCB design platforms.

Key capabilities include:

  • Checklist based methodology for organizing and executing checks by layer type and category, allowing reusable analysis workflows tailored to specific technologies or vendors
  • Selective analysis tools for targeted checks such as Rigid Flex and Copper Geometry
  • Charting features that visualize error trends to aid in rapid diagnosis and resolution
  • Crossprobing functionality that links DFM errors directly to their locations in native PCB design tools like PADS, PADS Professional, Xpedition, OrCAD, and Allegro

Valor DFMStream fosters collaboration between designers and fabricators, ensuring manufacturable designs with fewer surprises and optimized production timelines.
