Students working together on a robot arm

Join us for a panel conversation with Mike Nager, author of The Smart Student’s Guide to Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, and Larry Banks, Director of Workforce Development and Training at the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension program. Our host, David Lyell, marketing manager with Siemens Digital Industries Software, will moderate the discussion and share how you can get involved with this initiative.

Our mission, in collaboration with Mike Nager, is to give away 1,000 physical copies of the book and resources to facilitate its use in classrooms and beyond. We've developed five modules of content in the form of video and PowerPoint presentations that will enable you to drive interest in manufacturing and engineering among middle and high school students.

We'll share how you can apply to get copies of the book and leverage the resources we've developed to implement the program.

Webinar agenda:

  • Overview of Smart Student’s Guide to Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0
  • How investing in middle and high school students impacts their career trajectory
  • Enablement for teachers and parents with supplemental content
