Automotive Business Development Manager, Fluids and Thermal Domain

Fred started with computational fluid dynamics back in 1989 to help pioneer the usage of CFD for automotive applications. This includes extensive experience working with customers on applications such as virtual powertrain simulation, vehicle thermal management, aerodynamics, and thermal comfort. He helped replace and complement tests to look at digital development to help reduce time and cost to bring new innovative ideas to the market.

Simone Landi

Application Specialist Vehicle Aerodynamics

Simone started in 2013 as Dedicated Support Engineer for the multiphysics CFD code Simcenter STAR-CCM+, training and helping Automotive customers being successful with External Aerodynamics, VTM, Aeroacoustics and Water Management simulations.
Since 2022, he is the Application Specialist for Vehicle Aerodynamics at Siemens Digital Industries Software. In this role he is responsible for Best Practices, working closely with Development, Product Management and Customer Support to help with strategic projects, collecting and providing expert input to drive development of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ in the areas of Vehicle Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics and Water Management.
