A passenger vehicle with an electrical distribution system (EDS) driving down a road.

Delivering safety-assured and achieving cost-effectiveness for modern vehicles is getting more challenging. The market demands for performance, sustainability, and secured personalized services have driven the automotive industry investment into more complex and electrified solutions. How to effectively ensure the safety of new generation products, designed with sophisticated automated systems and complex power distribution architecture, has become a critical risk and challenge for automotive OEMs and suppliers.

In this webinar, we will discuss electrical distribution system (EDS) design compliance challenges, the bottlenecks of applying traditional methods, and how Capital Analysis delivers unique solutions to empower every EDS engineer to get fast, accurate, and meaningful feedback to improve and ensure their designs.

Streamline EDS design compliance by using an automated analysis engine

From electrical schematic connectivity checking for different vehicle configurations to analyzing fuse and wire sizing under stress/failure conditions, we see a manual, document-based, and disconnected method applied throughout the design and compliance assuring process. It creates a huge bottleneck that causes potential compliance risk to the product due to its error-prone and limited coverage nature.

The solution to the challenge is to capture the EDS compliance expertise into an automated analysis engine that could be embedded into a model-based design environment that provides fast and accurate feedback to the user for design improvement. Learn more by watching the webinar.
