As the Global Lead and CAE/CFD expert at JoysonQuin Automotive Systems North America, Dr. Melaku Habte is dedicated to revolutionizing vehicle interior comfort. He specializes in optimizing and designing new HVAC air vents, employing advanced CFD and aeroacoustics analysis to minimize noise and maximize passenger comfort. Dr. Habte's over two decades of experience in CAE/CFD application and development across diverse industries, including Automotive, Aerospace (gas turbine, UAV), Nuclear Reactor (neutron source cooling CFD), and Space (cooling systems for small satellites), allow him to bring a unique perspective to automotive HVAC design and problem-solving. An inventor with patents in automotive HVAC Air Vents and author of two books on cooling systems, he consistently pushes the boundaries of innovation. Outside of his professional endeavors, he values his role as a father and enjoys time with his family.

Ian McGann is Solution Consultant Director at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where he drives the adoption of cloud-native simulation and high-performance computing within the Simcenter portfolio. He works closely with sales, product, and industry teams to scale advanced engineering solutions across global markets. With over 20 years at Siemens, Ian has held roles in enterprise sales, product management, and innovation leadership, helping major customers transition to next-generation engineering workflows. His focus is on delivering practical, high-impact solutions that accelerate product development and digital transformation.

Prabu Ravindren

Product Manager

Prabu is part of the Simcenter SaaS product management team specifically managing Simcenter X - HPC & remote desktop. Previously, he was part of the Simcenter 3D Materials Engineering team as a technical product manager and an integration manager, overseeing the integration of acquisitions in the materials space into Siemens’ simulation business. Prabu started his career at Siemens as a development engineer in Simcenter Nastran in 2007 and was crucial in the development of the nonlinear solution capabilities. Prabu has an MBA, a master’s in aerospace engineering, and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. He's currently enrolled in an AI graduate program at Stanford. Prabu is based in Portland, OR.

Jorge Lopez

Advanced PreSales Solutions Consultant

Jorge is a Presales Solutions Consultant in the 3D Center of Excellence Fluids and Thermal team at Siemens, specializing in Fluids and Thermal Multiphysics solutions. He works extensively with Simcenter simulation tools including Simcenter STAR-CCM+, Simcenter Culgi for computational chemistry, and Simcenter X - HPC & remote desktop cloud solutions.
Since joining Siemens in 2022, Jorge has played a key role in helping customers harness these technologies to solve complex engineering challenges. Prior to Siemens, he worked as a simulation consultant in the pharmaceutical and chemical process industries, focusing on process optimization and modeling. Jorge holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, providing him with a robust technical foundation to support customers in achieving their simulation goals.
