As digital chip design complexity grows, engineering teams face increasing pressure to meet aggressive PPA targets on tight schedules. To overcome this challenge, the EDA industry requires a revolutionary shift towards AI. Siemens EDA is leading this transformation by implementing a comprehensive strategy that combines machine learning, reinforcement learning, generative, and agentic AI across the entire EDA workflow. This session showcases how Siemens is realizing this vision in the RTL-to-GDS space with the newly launched Aprisa AI: a fully integrated, AI-powered solution working in concert with the Siemens EDA AI System.
Aprisa AI delivers a 10x boost in engineering productivity, a 3x compute-time efficiency improvement, and 10% better PPA results compared to conventional workflows. Aprisa AI intelligently optimizes digital implementation flows to provide the best PPA for any given design. It also includes a generative and agentic AI assistant capable of answering questions about documentation and designs, launching commands, and running tools within Aprisa. This assistant is powered by the Siemens EDA AI System—an open, customizable, and secure platform that extends agentic AI capabilities across the entire EDA workflow. The system is designed to increase overall chip designer productivity through agentic automation, smart design queries, accelerated learning, and unlocking valuable insights from a centralized multimodal EDA data lake.
