In March 2016, Accellera approved the SystemC Synthesis Subset Standard. This standard establishes which SystemC constructs should be supported by a compliant High-Level Synthesis (HLS) tool and it clearly identifies SystemC language constructs outside of the scope of HLS. This web seminar will provide a high-level overview of the SystemC Synthesis Subset while focusing on modeling of specific design goals and identifying the specific coding constructs that should be avoided. The seminar will conclude with an overview of Catapult-provided libraries intended to ease the modeling effort in SystemC.
What you will learn:
SystemC Synthesizable Subset Standard
Hierarchy Modeling
Behavior Modeling
Interface Modeling
Datatypes
General modeling guidelines
Extensions to Standard
Who should view:
Designers currently using or intending to use SystemC for HLS
RTL designers
HLS Hardware architects
HLS Project managers
